Maybe she was gambling a bit too much with her attack, one she hadn't really used all that much before. But if she didn't do anything Blue Cat would be overwhelmed and she had no idea what mystery dreamer was really capable of besides using a sword as a bat.
Either way, she thrust her arms forward as she got closer, the white light shooting out as a beam towards the torment.]
