About: It is very hard to explain anything about any 13SAR characters without massive spoilers for the game theres your warning but mostly this is about his AU self
x Both his parents work and are Super Rich but not very emotionally available. His mom especially is very distant with both him and his father. They aren't divorced but they probably should be. x Because they both travel a lot (and his dad wanted privacy for his affairs), his dad bought Shu his own apartment when he started high school, so he's learned to be somewhat self-sufficient. He can take care of his own space at least, even if he still mostly orders takeout rather than cook for himself because he can just afford to do that x With all that lack of parenting and no siblings, as an extrovert, Shu is constantly seeking social interaction. He welcomes having any of his schoolfriends over to his apartment and happily shares all of his cool rich kid stuff like his game systems, his high end tv and sound system, he will pay for their meals, etc. he is So Bored and So Lonely Always please hang out with him x He has been a gamer his whole life and is a popular streamer online, doing challenge runs and generally just being so charming people love to watch him and it fills the hole in his heart where parental affirmation should be i mean what x He's got a pretty face and is naturally really smart so he gets good grades without trying hard, and in middle school he started to get really popular, so he leaned into it. He's casually dated many, many girls but doesn't seem to commit or be serious with any of them. He isn't a mean guy and he doesn't hurt them on purpose, he just doesn't seem to take much of anything seriously
x Possibly also considering maybe his dad used the excuse of Shu awakening to being a Dreamer as a good reason to buy him his own place across the city/in a different city to go to Promise Academy and be involved in DU. handwobbles
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Shu will either be freshly awakened or awaken during the game so I want to play with him discovering all of that and learning his powers! I'm looking forward to playing with his abilities and getting creative. Long term, I want him to develop really meaningful relationships and learn how to really emotionally open up and trust others, in a mundane way and in a magical on-the-battlefield friendship power way.
Desired CR/AU Castmates: Prebaked CR as casual schoolfriends or ex-girlfriends (or even an ex-boyfriend) would be fun!!! I would like to play with him having generally positive relationships with exes, if distant. Like he would help his ex gfs with new bf troubles or by being IT support or just generally being a good guy even if he Wasn't A Good Long Term Boyfriend, but I would also be interested in exploring some negative CR in general.
Shu probably also plays some kind of sport IDK so if someone wants to be a teammate for track or soccer or whatever lmk.
would like an au replacement bff to fit the same sort of bill as the gangbanger with a heart of gold who was Shu's bff in canon. Some kind of gruff/tough guy dude with a strong moral compass that probably isnt the compass society wants him to have. Also probably taught Shu how to throw a punch without breaking his own fingers. That kind of thing.
