Character Name: Shionne Vymer Imeris Daymore (Shortened to just Shionne Imeris, thank you.) Canon: Tales of Arise
About: Short version: angry healer tries to take control of her life.
Long version: People around Shionne have a habit of getting hurt. Whether that’s due to her magical girl powers somehow spilling over into the real world at inopportune times, people getting attacked by Nightmares if they get too close to her, or just being associated with a lot of accidents… Either way, folks have learned to keep their distance from her, and treat her as an odd, rumor-rich outcast. And since that keeps people from getting further damaged or herself from hurting, that suits Shionne just fine. She’s been a magical girl for at least a year now, having awakened fairly early and manifesting a pretty bad curse/ability (read: her Curse of Thorns) along with her power set. As such she’s driven to master her abilities, and the dreamsphere around her. She’s got a very goal oriented attitude, which is a nice contrast to how distant she is at school; not quite delinquent, not quite elite student council/honor roll, but somewhere in between. Also yes she’s going to be in school, at least the last year of it. Arise gave us school uniform costumes and I appreciate that. If I can put in some sort of Lenegis Sponsorship or something with Shionne’s school life, I might go with that; some sort of elite group interested in the Dreamsphere, and Shionne’s abilities in turn. Yes she bristles under their control quite a bit.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: SHIONNE IS HERE TO KILL NIGHTMARES. Most especially, four or five major elemental themed Nightmares that totally aren’t rethemed Renan Lords; she has a hunch that will help her get a better handle on her powers, which she’s all for. She probably needs to learn how to chip off some of the ice and sharp edges of her personality, and be more open towards people. And maybe figure out what she’s going to do with her life outside of trying to control her situation. Probably specing her towards Saver. Beyond that, have her be good at healing people if need be; grumpy as she may be, she still helps people if they need it. And uh... Maybe have her be infamous as a cook and trying to learn how to cook better? And also eating her own weight at many of the restaurants. Also likely good at the needle and thread, and looking into the newest fashion trends.
