Ango was a cynical realist who definitely didn't believe in ghosts, but the unexpected reply still made him nearly jump out of his skin. He was still putting himself back together when the other Dreamer rounded the corner.
"Nah, I hang out in some shady places, but this is a dump even by my standards", he drawled, forcing himself to relax somewhat. He managed to wave back with a grin. "I've been wandering around for ages and I still can't find a halfway decent bar. Any luck on your end?"
Ango sheathed his knives - if the other Dreamer had come from up ahead, then there probably wasn't anything dangerous lurking around the next bend. Probably. Instead, he pulled a pack of cigarettes from within his sash and lit one off the nearest torch. It would calm his nerves, at least.
