Don't feel as though you have to be 100% beholden to anything you brainstorm here – ultimately this is just to get ideas flowing and to help prebake some character connections before entry into the game. Feel free to also take a look around the FAQ pages before posting here and generate some ideas that way!

Player Name: Tseil Contact:Tseil, ifoundamuffin on Discord Introduction: Hi, old time player making a comeback. Still love trying to collect muses like they're Pokemon. Also started finger-crocheting and that's awesome. I work with supporting troubled youth and love it. Life's going pretty good thanks to some upgrades, so I'm thinking I have the energy and headspace to properly RP again.
Character Name: Madoka Takatori Canon: Shounen Maid
About: Owner of King Costumes: For Every Occassion, a one-man costume shop. Especially takes orders to bring a civilian's "dreamer image" to life, to help the civilians not feel left out by the entire thing. It's all cosplay, of course. But what people do with his costumes isn't exactly his business.
Mundane civilian. Admires Dreamers.
Still a messy disaster. Please don't step into his office. Or his house. Unless you want to somehow step into his life to save him from himself.
Closest family was sister. Sister got pregnant. She fell ill while pregnant. After the baby was born, the husband left with their baby shortly after she was hospitalised. She passed away, Madoka has been seeking his lost nibling since. Travelled for a while, but when he ran out of leads, he returned to Japan and set up shop.
Wealthy.
This man deserves a pet cat! Adopted one and named it after his sister?
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Up for debate if he'll ever become a dreamer. But I did like playing a mundane the first time I joined. Looking to bring that energy back. Right now, just getting him settled.
Desired CR/AU Castmates: Someone please come visit this disaster of a child and save him from himself (I accept negative CR as well as positive. Yell at him or scoop him. He'll take either.) It would be nice if he could be someone's support (or multiple someones especially), found family (literal and figurative - you do not have to be a canonmate to be his long lost nibling. And we can always add more exceptions/half-nibling/surprise twin twist if we do get a castmate that fits), people he'd struggle to get along with (anti-dog - come at him bro), People who struggle to get along with him while he remains oblivious, an accountant support would be nice.

aside from ran below who i've actually conceptualized some parts of already, i'm also considering mizi from alien stage or ayano tateyama from kagerou project but have 0.5 ideas for them, i can be convinced if someone is more interested in either of those options n_n

About: have some general vibes! more general info about ran from canon can be found in her journal.
» ran has been in entertainment since she was a child, starting out as a child model for children's clothing brands and then moved on her way to acting for a short period of time. this sparked her interest in fashion and modeling. she just graduated from promised morning private school and is now attending university as a fashion design major, while working some side gigs in the meanwhile.
» she's normally cool, calm, collected. ran is the type who thinks before she acts, often the voice of reason. when she's around people who she isn't very close with, ran tends to be more reserved. only those she has completely put her trust in see the more softer (and sometimes cute!) side to her personality.
» tentatively dreamer ageha, striker type. about 3 years under her belt? her dreamer appearance has purple, pink, red, gold, and butterfly motifs similar to this
» when she first started out as a dreamer, ran became good friends with someone her first year at promised morning. they were classmates and partners; as much as they could, they performed their dreamer duties together. i imagine they could have been known as ~that duo or at least, people knew that they were usually doing things together.
» however one day something happened to this friend! whatever happened to this friend? i'm not quite sure yet - but something along the lines of them disappearing/dying while out on dreamer duties ?? most help and guidance here would be appreciated.
» ANYWAY after the incident, ran was devastated by this and decided that it would be better for her to work solo (as much as she could) than to form attachments to someone who she could potentially lose. she doesn't want to go through that pain again, but sometimes... you just form bonds with people... and then you start caring about them... that's where you all come in!
Short Term & Long Term Plans: would love ran to get over her complex and be part of a team or unit! she recognizes when working with others will benefit her but she doesn't want to necessarily form that close connection in case... what if something happens to you... then she'll be sad :(
Desired CR/AU Castmates: ran is idol-adjacent so anyone in entertainment would be great cr! in addition, maybe people who would have known her + her friend a few years ago so they know what happened and are trying to help her be more of a team player? remind her that it's ok to love again?? also, people may know her from her modeling work so that's also another connection!
Anything Else?: most of ran's general backstory is the same as her original verse, the main differences are that a.) she didn't pursue becoming an idol and just stayed in her fashion/modeling niche, and b.) she didn't meet ~her two best friends~ from canon so she never got over her "if i work alone i don't have to feel hurt when my friend vanishes/dies/breaks up with me/etc" complex that she had at the beginning of the aikatsu series.
should any aikatsus be apped later, i'm happy to retcon/adjust/headcanon things so it can be more cohesive and work for all of us!
i'm still reading thru all of the info and trying to process it so sorry if there is anything wrong/incorrect here orz
