Character Name: Garion Kim

About: Garion is an insufferably sharp trans woman in university who leads a team of dark mahou, refuses to affiliate with the Dreamers' Union, and tries to prove a point by picking fights with new Dreamers. She's the kind of person who considers herself an amateur if she hasn't displayed complete mastery over a subject, and considers anyone worse than her at it to be effectively incompetent. Despite her open hostility towards other Dreamers in the Dream Sphere and her inability to trust other people wholly, she is more than willing to hold peaceable talks over tea, and in fact prefers to conduct her business this way. She talks like some horrible cross between Hannibal Lecter and Rose Lalonde. She's the worst. ❤️

Short Term & Long Term Plans: Short term, I'd like her to make immediate CR - both antagonistic and positive. She needs allies, and she needs enemies, and to be perfectly honest she needs friends but is kind of alien to that concept in general. On that note, I'm interested in her scouting other potential members for her dark mahou team - and also picking fights with people who might disagree with the idea!

On a longer term scale, I have plans for Garion that I'm unable to detail too much now. For now, I'd just like to see how her relationships with other people pan out - and how the team progresses along in the meanwhile!

Desired CR: I'm always down for brand-new CR, but I'm also interested in fleshing out people she might have known earlier! She was sent over to board at Yumemigaoka when she was twelve, so it's entirely possible teachers/professors/mentors might have met her in the past eight years. Additionally, it might be fun for other users of frillnet to be more tangentially aware of Garion, since she's the single longest-time lurker of the boards!

Something that might be fun is handwaving previous fights or encounters; specifically, rather than playing every single one out, deciding how previous encounters would've gone between Garion and your Dreamer! Did they fight? Did Garion try to recruit them? Was there a clash of ideals?? WHO KNOWS

Past that... I really would like her to have someone else she might grow to trust eventually. Right now, it's basically only Misato Katsuragi, and that entire situation is probably going to detonate in the worst possible way.

im definitely brewing ideas wrt novvy to establish a dynamic but

i would love to shake out what potential encounters between levania the neighborhood Weird Fuckin' Figment and garion in the dreamsphere would have looked like up to now! levania's been stomping around a while now, but everyone thought he couldn't talk up until like. a month ago. when he started to.

additionally, CR of 'knew each other before Unnamed Guy was killed & gave rise to levania' could be fun, if you would like to receive a donation of one (1) 'guy that got fridged.' i bring this up because he himself was Logged The Fuck On, though more in a gaming sense than a Posting sense.

THAT SOUNDS EXCELLENT THEN in terms of conversation, he answers questions and is certainly used to them lmao but inquiries to his origin generally get a flat "I don't know." Tho it is. Also Not Hard to catch him in logic traps in regards to him knowing _{usually 2 years dated} irl lore/hints of a solid human identity. He is very straightforward.

So here's Zeke, loud and a core supporter of the DU for a bit now -- seems very likely they've had a run-in or two before, which went terribly because Zeke is all about said DU support and also trying to get people to stop being complete disasters that leap down the dark magical girl route. Never started a fight but the ideological clash and his aggressive cheer might have provoked her a couple times, neh?

I feel like Garion and Zeke have bashed heads several times on this specific matter - both on the "DU or bust" and the "stop being an asshole" front. Also the part where his aggressive cheeriness makes her want to strangle someone?? So basically: pleeease let's get some handwaved previous run-ins before.

Do you think they'd actually have fought? Would Zeke have just talked loudly about ideals and things like that, or would he have gotten steamed enough to get baited into a fight over it?

Fighting's reserved for Torments and Nightmares, not fellow Dreamers with ideological disputes! Despite his conviction, he's not gonna fight. Probably one of the few indicators that there's actually a mature adult somewhere in that chuuni attitude. I can imagine that probably annoys her even MORE!
