Introduction: Hi! I'm Ink, a 30 year old scrungled trans guy who lives in Baltimore with his partner (also playing in this game) and our two cats. I like doing an art, listening a weird music, and recently I became a smalltime Warrior Cats youtuber? Idk man the 2020s have been a hell of a decade. I am currently on that 'figuring out medication' merry go round so please grant me a lil clemency while I wrangle my brain.
Character Name: Stanford Pines
About: Ford Pines is a 70 year old man with twelve PhDs who speaks thirteen languages fluently and also, coincidentally, is a huge idiot. He can tell you anything you might want to know (or not know) about obscure subjects you didn't know existed, but he has the emotional intelligence of a slug. He's not mean, he's just deeply short-sighted and allergic to letting anyone get close to him. He's convinced as a person he's unlikeable, so he has to get people to like him by his accomplishments instead and never let them know anything else about him ever. It's easier to spend all his time shooting monsters, working out, reading, tutoring, maybe writing the occasional scholarly article... that thing about sharks always having to move or they die is a myth (he will explain this to you at length) but in his case it's true and he is the shark.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Long term my goal is for him to essentially get the character development he did in canon: He needs to unlearn his 'trust no one' lone wolf martyr mentality he has built up around himself. He's got to figure out how to let down his walls and be emotionally vulnerable with other people, or he's never gonna unfuck himself as a person.
Short term I have nothing really set in stone beyond settling in, cementing pre-existing relationships, that sort of thing. I would like him to get assigned a mentee or two. I like to think he's been avoiding it because of his whole 'on this dark weird road I walk I'm afraid you cannot follow' bullshit so getting forced to work with someone he is also responsible for would be good for him.
Desired CR: Mentees, as I said above! You'll be in for a wild time and it probably won't be a strictly safe learning environment, but you'll get to see a real pro at work, so... it evens out?
Students he knows through tutoring, since he does that regularly at Promised Morning. Which subject? All of them. Twelve PhDs. We can make it work.

Character Name: Ryoko Shinonome
About: Once upon a time (or like, six months ago) Ryoko was a completely ordinary high schooler and a totally average grumpy introvert. This all changed when she was the victim of a Nightmare attack and while she was able to Awaken and eventually save herself, the damage was already done and Ryoko woke up with almost all of her personal memories wiped – she remembers enough to function day to day and pick up where she left off in school but anything relating to herself and her relationships is gone. As you can imagine, nobody is happy about this!
She put off getting involved with the DU and the Dream Sphere in general as a result, but now craving a fresh start and hoping to find some way to restore the 'real' Ryoko (as she perceives it), she's joined the DU and is just about to start at Promised Morning as a new student.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Short term, Ryoko will be having her first day at Promised Morning Academy and settling into school and working as a Dreamer. She will also be making her first rescue, during which she inadvertently assists in Awakening an old friend as a Dreamer and uh, whoopsie daisy! Better keep an eye on him!
Long term, I want Ryoko to start making friends and forming connections new and old with people in her life and generally giving her a sense that she does have a future as the self she exists as now, rather than feeling an obligation to eventually give it 'back' to the 'real' Ryoko.
Desired CR: Classmates! DU senpais! I have her family CR mostly settled so right now I'm most interested in her making pals at school. She is also going to end up looking after an annoying kouhai (affectionate) so I'd be interested in her hitting up some DU Mentors to chatter about her sense of responsibility there and what she can do to look after him, etc

She loves the apartment complex her family runs, rides her bike everywhere, and is a sweet wholesome girl whose hobbies are "church", "fencing", "being a horse girl", and "noping off into the Dream Sphere to hang out with a mysterious older woman she calls an angel."
Dreamer-wise, she's been active as "Dreamer La Pucelle" since she was 12 but only just joined the DU - by walking up and requesting, quite matter-of-factly, to be placed in charge of it. To her surprise, this did not work, and she is now enrolled in Promised Morning instead. Gotta start somewhere.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: RAISE THE SIEGE OF ORLEANS AND CROWN DAUPHIN CHARLES VII THE KING OF FRANCE AT RHEIMS i mean uh. Jeannette is hoping to work her way up to a leadership position in the DU so she can be of the most help to everyone. Her angel told her she has the ability to be a commander who leads the Dreamers to victory, you see, so it MUST be true, and she MUST achieve it.
But I would also love to develop an everyday life for her at her new school, maybe with....a few crushes???? that she doesn't know are crushes???? y'all have to compete with an angel but the girl is praying inside an invisible closet, this is not exactly Hard.
Desired CR: Classmates and Dreamer Union colleagues! I'd really love her to end up with a mentee at some point because being leaderly and inspirational is her thing, and it is also very funny to picture the 17-year-old being the veteran Dreamer. Just magical girl things.

Positive and upbeat, and trying to help those dark magical girls not feel so dark if he can!
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Zeke's main purpose here is to interact with people! He's a bridge between schoolkids and the old guard, being mature and experienced without being totally out of touch with What's In These Days.

Character Name: Ango Sakaguchi / Dreamer Decadence.
About: Ango is cynical novelist who recently awakened as a Dreamer, so he's moved to Yumemigaoka to (hopefully) collect an easy paycheck from the Dreamer Union. Ango is chaotic, irresponsible, and chronically broke, and this is only like the third weirdest cosplay job he's had so he's just rolling with it. He tries very hard to look like a Badass Cool Guy™ but he is actually a huge nerd with a philosophy degree who loves to cook.

Short Term: Ango's short term goals are pretty simple: cigarettes, food, and a cheap place to live (in that order).

She also is hiding severe anxiety issues, but she is a pro at faking nothing is wrong. She's only been a Dreamer for around 9 months and openly a dream for three.

Introduction: Hello!! More officially this time! Copying what I wrote on the last meme: my name is Lynsey, I am known for my love of all girls, questionable taste in terrible complicated fictional men, and that time I tricked Claire into thinking "lake sharks" were a thing in the lakes around my childhood home of Bumfuck Nowhere Alberta Canada that we were visiting together and kept the ruse going for a whole ass year. My main fandoms are Love Live, Fate/ and Final Fantasy XIV.
I'm big into my OCs and have been steadily working on a story that I hope to get out there at some point - the same one that Odile is originally from! I try not to talk about it too much because I don't want to be annoying but if you let me I will gladly go on forever about my children. I love them. (; v ;)
I also did a bunch of art for the game! The transformation devices were my doing and soon... well. You'll see. :3c
Character Name: Odile Cygnia-Inuyama (usually just Cygnia Inuyama when meeting new people)
About: As talked about on the original meme, Odile is the child of a very famous retired Dreamer, Odette Cygnia a.k.a. Dreamer Swan, who helped found the Dreamer Union and spearheaded a lot of the efforts to get it funding and recognition. Basically a bit of a celebrity and well known figure at least around Yumemigaoka (hence why Odile does not usually introduce their full name, even though they're proud to be her kid). Their father, Akira Inuyama, also does work at the Dreamer Union, mostly by being a teacher at Promised Morning Academy. Growing up they always wanted to be just like their mother but she left VERY big shoes to fill. Odette also lost her powers pretty much right after getting pregnant which did cause some speculation about how that might have happened. Some of this eventually made its way back to Odile, who has a little bit of a complex about it.
Odile themselves is a very anxious and timid person. They have a tendency to be very withdrawn and shy, as growing up out of the limelight unfortunately had the side effect of leaving them a little sheltered and bad at social situations (Despite efforts by their parents to socialize them regardless). They are however a very kind and caring person, very polite and respectful, and just want to make people happy. They are often indecisive due to self doubt, but once they have set their mind on something they're determined to see it through, to the point of maybe sometimes leaning into stubbornness. They're a good birb brent.
They love music, with guitar playing and singing being their main hobbies - though they are still too shy to do any of it in front of anyone else. They also LOVE sweets thanks to all the baking their dad does at home. If any of you people start up a character run bakery watch out: Odile will clear you out once they get their allowance.
Currently they're trying out living on their own, as the family estate is just a liiiiiiiiiittle bit too far out of the city that it was interfering with their school activities having to always abide by their dad's schedule for commuting. They want to get independent! It's definitely not because they're still a little bit jealous of their baby sister, no way!
Also as a last note, Odile was amab but they currently identify as genderfluid/transfemme. They respond to any pronouns but prefer they/them atm. This is like... the ONE thing that doesn't cause them any anxiety unlike the rest of the shit in their life lmao.

About: Zinda started her career as a dreamer back in the 90s, in America, where she led a team of handsome boy mahous called the Blackhawks. As their only female member, and an active participant of the riot grrrl movement, Zinda said GIRLS TO THE FRONT and led her team as Lady Blackhawk with an infectious laugh and a can do attitude. It’s that attitude that led her into trouble—- and straight into a coma in the real world, in 1996, the result of a tragic incident that wiped the Blackhawks out completely.
While she was comatose in the real world, Zinda kept Dreaming on occasion— showing up when things were messy over the years, and vanishing randomly without any warning. It’s over these years of Dreaming that she slowly aged— the Zinda that awoke two years ago wasn’t still a teen, as she’d had life experiences and been able to mature through Dreaming. This was likely also the reason why she was able to recover in just two years—- her body hadn’t been completely frozen in that bed for over twenty years. About: For two years now, a certain extremely clearly-formed and visually distinct Figment has wandered the Yumemigaoka dreamsphere. 24/7. 7 days a week. It is very clear that whoever this person is, he does not spend any time waking the fuck up. Until recently, he was always completely silent -- it turns out he lost a bunch of pieces of himself across the dreamsphere, including his ability to talk, and only recently recovered his power of speech.
Curiously, he's a dead ringer for the avatar and screen-name of a high-profile raider in a popular MMO... one who dropped off the face of the earth two years ago. Huh. Wonder what happened there.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: LOTS???
levania's on a quest to recover his other 5 missing pieces, scattered around as little glowy things somewhere in the dreamsphere. he doesn't know there's five. he just knows he's got bits gone. as he recovers these pieces, he'll be changed by them-- learning again to hope, feel anger, grief, etc. sand will slowly appear in his tiny little hourglass. grain by grain. levania's gonna be my second dreamer, eeeeeeventually! very eventually.
also eventually he's going to be slammed in the face by the fact that, oh yeah, the fact that the person I'm the leftovers of was murdered in cold blood bothers me, actually.

She has a daughter, who she does care for deeply, even if her father is out of the picture at the moment. She's blunt (verging on being just mean), a little self-centered, and tends to think poorly of the purely idealistic.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Short-term, I'd like to get her some friends and more of a support network, even if she's also just, you know... not pleasant. Someone's gotta help her deal iwth that and maybe settle in to this life. This boy's a mess, with a guilt complex up to here; he's not really taking Ryoko's memory issues very well.
Oh, and, yeah, he has some of those memory issues himself as well. Oops. His aren't as bad as his sister's and he's decided against telling people because. it's fine. we're fine here. it's fine. this is sustainable.

Short Term & Long Term Plans: Cynthia is the mentor for Ei Sakigahara, but aside from this I have absolutely no long term plans. I'm gonna mostly play her where the wind takes me and have her be a responsible, but fun, grown up.
Desired CR: Other adults to be friends (or maybe more) with, and younger characters for her to help out, as well as anyone else who's just plain interested in marine biology and other forms of science!
