As the prompts in the TDM are based on events from the prior in-game month, the overall TDM is not canon to Beautiful Dreamer though players are free to treat individual CR/threads on this post as canon to their characters if both players are happy to do so.
Dreamers on the TDM will have access to all of their starter powers as outlined on the powers page as well as two unique abiliites to play around with as you please.
Some prompts and location details have been provided below for you to play around with but please feel free to go hog wild and have fun!
YUMEMIGAOKA

Fall is officially in full swing as of November, which means everyone gets to enjoy crisp mornings, cool nights, clear skies and, most importantly, northern Japan's famous vibrant autumnal colours! It's pretty consistently overcast and rainy for the whole month which would usually make things all sorts of gloomy - but thankfully, as the month grows colder, trees all over the city are turning cartoonishly yellow and red and orange, decorating the otherwise grim fall atmosphere with pops of warm colour that have a way of brightening the mood. Unfortunately for folks working in hospitality, the change in weather and the famous fall colours also means that a whole lot of tourists will be invading the city for autumn sightseeing. Be strong, our soldiers..!
- ⧖ It's Culture Day! Schools around Yumemigaoka will be holding their cultural festivals, which usually includes performances put on by school clubs, booths run by classes and, of course, lots of food stalls run by students. Cultural festivals are also open days, so family members and friends from other schools will be able to come and hang out during these days! Come have a nostalgic wander around your old haunt or use visiting a friend as an excuse to snoop around Promised Morning and see what the heck a school for mahous even looks like, I ain't your boss.
⧖ It's blustering out there...! A nasty storm has blown in that's currently wreaking havoc all over Yumemigaoka with high winds and heavy rains - thankfully, it's not a full blown typhoon but that doesn't mean it's any less of a pain to deal with! Traffic has slowed to a crawl, as has public transport, and cafes and shops are overflowing with people trying to stay out of the rain! If you're lucky, you can stay home and avoid the weather, but if you really do need to go out, well... we'll be sure to remember you...!!
⧖ Hoping to do some regular shopping at the department store this month? Unfortunately for you, Tsubaki Department Store are having a pre-Black Friday Sale Sale (??!??!) to hype up for the winter season and is usual for when prices drop at Tsubaki, competition is fierce! Nobody will judge you if you have to throw a few punches to pick up a new microwave today. With how dangerous things get during these sales, it's basically self defense.
⧖ Midway through the month, the holiday spirit really starts to show itself in Yumemigaoka! The Yumemigaoka Christmas Illuminations go up all around the city with a lighting ceremony in the evening to celebrate turning them on. Food stalls with tasty food and hot drinks will be available for everyone to check out or maybe you just want to enjoy the pretty lights. They're only here for one month a year, after all!
THE DREAM SPHERE

Over in the Dream Sphere, fall fever has taken over here as well! The air is crisp and clean and those leaves raining down from apparently nowhere aren't letting up in the least. They're nice and pretty and all, but they're also piling up everywhere around the Dream Sphere, leaving a really good hiding spot for Torments who love to jump out and smack you. So really, it's just good manners to kick those piles and scatter leaves everywhere as soon as you see them.
As usual, the emotions stirring over in the Waking World have begun funnelling into the Dream Sphere and causing all manner of problems here and there. Torments and Nightmares won't hunt themselves so be sure to properly scout out all the available locations of the Dream Sphere you can access just in case - maybe you'll find a new teammate to work with while you're out there!
In particular, it looks like trouble can be found...
- ⧖ Twinkle Keep and the Whispering Grotto have been taken over by Torments! These little Halloween suckers are NOT respecting the seasonal aesthetic. Make sure to each them a lesson - but don't get Tricked in the process!
⧖ Fury Peak is just as unpleasant as usual, though the crisp fall atmosphere does seem to have cleared some of the usual smoke in the air, making it a bit easier to fight and, you know, breathe when you're patrolling here. The Torments on the Peak seem to be in a pretty bad mood this month, though - maybe the seasonal change is getting to them? Either way, they're responding to this by... pelting any Dreamers thry see with rocks?! It's different from their usual tactics to be sure but you have to wonder how effective it is... it is really annoying, though, so better take 'em out!
⧖ The Reflection Glades aren't usually a hot spot for Torment activity but with all the unusual happenings in the Dream Sphere lately, it looks like whatever force is usually responsible for keeping Torments at bay isn't quite as effective as usual and a startling amount of the little boogers have breeched the Glades' safety and started going after Figments in earnest! Thankfully, a whole bunch of Dreamers have been dispatched to take care of the issue so even though there's a fair bit more pressure than usual with all these Figments who need protecting, you're not alone – and who knows? Maybe this is how you'll stumble your way into a new team!
⧖ In a rare change for the Abandoned Dojo, its usually rainy weather has almost entirely cleared in favour of crisp, wintery fog that definitely effects visibility more than you would maybe like it to when hiking this path but something about it is kind of refreshing, too. Even so, there's an odd tension in the air today and all the Torments you face on the way up here seem on edge as well. It isn't until you reach the Dojo itself that the cause becomes apparent – a Nightmare is starting to spawn here, right in the middle of the Dojo's training arena, as if it's waiting for a truly powerful opponent to turn up and challenge it... If you act fast, you might be able to take this Nightmare down before it awakens and starts rampaging, but maybe not all by yourself...

He can't help but fluster once everyone's attention turns their way, though, scrambling to try to put a hand over his sibling's mouth. Bad enough they drew people's eye just by the notion of being identical twins-- not a very common sight, even in this city-- but with Tsukasa making a commotion on top of that...!!]
Shhhh...! Not so loud! I heard you the first time!
[UGH.... this is why he hated being the Responsible Older Sibling sometimes. Amane wasn't a stick in the mud!! Really!!! He liked to have fun too! But someone had to reign his brother in, and unfortunately that fell on him most of the time.
He's quiet for a moment as he considers the idea, however, before finally adding:]
... it'd be kinda hard for us to get the really powerful ones this time of year though, right? But if we take 'em to the park or something, it could be fine...
[AMANE...... THAT'S ILLEGAL....]
no subject
Also come on, Amane. You know what happens when you put your hand over his mouth: he licks it. Does he love his brother? Yes. But he also loves to annoy him. Even as Amane goes along with Tsukasa's whims. Not that Amane doesn't want to. Tsukasa knows his brother and knows he likes to be mischievous too. It's just hard to do when your twin is Tsukasa.]
I could find someone to get 'em for us. [Of course he could. Obviously Tsukasa would know an illegal fireworks dealer.] But shouldn't we do it where grown-ups can't see us? [He's turning fifteen but it still feels right to call them grown-ups. He doesn't care as much about how childish that might sound. If you asked Tsukasa, he'd prefer to stay young.]
no subject
He pauses in his attempts of soggy revenge, however, as Tsukasa's words fully sink in, and... yeah, he would have a contact for that sort of thing, wouldn't he? Granted, there were probably a couple of people at the DU who were unscrupulous enough to have those sort of goods as well, but... egh. He didn't really wanna deal with that if he could help it.]
Well, we'd be lighting them at night, obviously. And there's not a lot of people there after dark, so we should be okay. [BREAKING AND ENTERING WHILE WE'RE AT IT... smh Amane]
... hm. I guess we do gotta get some adults to actually take us there, though. I don't think heading out there on the train that late would be a great idea.
[More from a safety standpoint than anything else-- it's not like they can't handle the commuter trains at this age (especially with how far they need to travel to school), but being on their own late at night without at least another adult to keep them company felt... risky. It wasn't as if Amane could fight off would-be muggers as easily as he could Torments back in the Dream Sphere, after all...]
no subject
As Amane starts to list out of the issues, ones that of course Tsukasa wouldn't think of because his job isn't to be the one that comes out with the logistics. He makes the idea and everybody else can figure it out! But as Amane points these things out, Tsukasa hums.]
Hmm. [He taps a finger to his chin.]
Why don't we just say we're staying at someone's place? For a sleepover. I know people who live around there and I can say I got invited and you're coming along with me.
[THAT DOESN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM THEY'RE OUT LATE AND HOW THEY'RE GETTING BACK. But again, this ain't Tsukasa's job!]
no subject
He frowns a little as he turns over Tsukasa's suggestion in his head, munching through his popcorn as he thinks it over. Tsukasa always has been the creative one, ever since they were little-- maybe not in technical skill, but he could be relied on to think out of the box. Amane, on the other hand... maybe "brains" wasn't the best way to describe him (not with his grades at times), but he was good at ironing out the details for things, at least.]
Yeah, but then Mom and Dad wouldn't expect us back until the next day, and then we'd really need someplace to stay. [And then, flatly:] Besides, I don't hang out with any of your friends. I think they'd get suspicious from that alone if you told them that.
[Not through any fault of Tsukasa's, of course, but... there was a reason Amane decided to transfer schools, after all. Easier to get a fresh start in a new place when nobody knew you existed in the old one.]
I mean, I could see if there's anyone at the DU who'd wanna help, but...
[Shinsha, maybe...? No, they'd definitely rat the two of them out to their parents, along with Keiwa. Ango would probably be down to help them do illegal things, but Amane was pretty sure the guy didn't actually have a place to crash at, either. And he didn't really want to get any of girls he knew involved, for their own safety...
(... god, he wasn't about to consider Nikki, was he? He didn't even know where the guy lived!!!)]
no subject
Yeah but if I asked for you to come along then that wouldn't be weird. [That part was not that uncommon. Tsukasa did ask his friends for Amane to come but it never really worked out. Still, he hadn't asked that for a while. Not when he realized it didn't seem like something Amane liked and would get too worked up over. It could be fun to get Amane bothered and flustered but there were times it did become too much for his older brother and just stopped being fun.
So maybe that idea wouldn't work. He keeps thinking, munching on his own popcorn.]
Think you could do Dreamer stuff to help out? Doesn't do us much good here but you could go over there and I lie and say I'm with a friend. And I don't know, I'll sleep in the park or something. [Tsukasa Yugi, you are not even 15 yet. No sleeping on a bench in the park for the sake of some fireworks.
But he is a little too fearless for his own good.]
no subject
He pulls another face at Tsukasa's suggestion, though, the look silent but obviously clear of his thoughts on the matter. It's true that Amane's gotten a little more outgoing over the past year or so, a little less shy, thanks to his Dreamer activities, but... it didn't mean he's suddenly become a social butterfly, either. Getting stuck staying with one of Tsukasa's friends, even if it was a means to an alibi, felt nothing short of Introvert Hell for him. And of course, his brother probably knew that too, which made it worse...
He hums a little himself as he continues to think, trying to weigh their options, although he does look up sharply at that "sleeping in the park" comment.]
Uh, no, you're not staying in the park. That's ten times worse.
[Seriously, why else do you think he had wanted to bring an adult along to begin with?? Yumemigaoka was pretty safe as far as cities go, and Amane was pretty sure Tsukasa could fight any feral creature who came after him in the park, but... he couldn't help but worry, nonetheless. Not that having their room to himself for a night wasn't tempting...]
You do kinda have a good point about the Dreamer stuff, though. [As much as he hated to admit it--] I could go do what I gotta do over there after we do the fireworks, and you could still stay with one of your friends afterwards? It's less weird if it was just you doing a sleepover, and I'd wind up back home when I was done, anyway.
[Of course, it would have been nice if they could both hop into the Dream Sphere as their hassle-free trip back home, but... well, no use in thinking about the impossible. It was just going to ruin the night, anyway. Amane huffs a little sigh, eyes traveling back up to the nights above them.]
This kinda thing is more complicated than I thought...
no subject
Geesh, Amane. FINE. He won't sleep on a bench. It might have been fun but fine. Way to ruin his amusement. He hums as he agrees to Amane's plan.] I'll see who wants to do a sleepover then. They'll probably get all annoyed I'm leaving in the middle and coming back but they'll get over it. [His friends knew Tsukasa would drop everything for Amane; it was not unusual for him to do so. This was another example of it and they would put up with it.]
Doing illegal stuff is always complicated. [Why is he talking like he already knows this? Does he have experience? Who knows!] But it'll be worth it. It'll be super pretty. [He looks back up to the lights and for once, is quiet for a moment. Just silently enjoying the sights and being near his brother. Part of him wonders if he should tell Amane now that he planned to finally awaken but it doesn't seem like the right time still. He was going to do it once he figured it all out. The school seemed fine and soon, they could use the Dream Sphere for their own illegal dealings (there's going to be more than one????).]
You know, Amane, I think being fifteen is going to really be our year.
no subject
... well, based on that answer about the sleepover, probably not, but. He wasn't about to get on Tsukasa's case about it right at this moment. (Though he will give him the briefest of side-eyes about the "illegal" comment, despite him being equally complicit in this planning--) Instead, he's content in this brief moment of silence, watching the lights alongside his brother, an odd feeling of bittersweet nostalgia welling up within him. It's not like he never spends time with his twin-- actually, if Tsukasa had his way, he'd probably never know a moment's peace-- but... for whatever reason, it seems like it had been much too long since they'd gotten to do something like this together. Was it because he was constantly doing Dreamer stuff? Going to a different school? (Spending too much time with a certain girl, maybe??)
Before he can dwell on it for too long, though, Tsukasa's words snap him out of it, and he shoots his sibling a mystified look.]
... huh? What makes you say that? [As far as he knew, all of the good stuff was still a few years ahead-- getting a license, being able to drink,
being able to buy lewd books--. Although maybe being considered a proper teenager instead of just a kid was a perk in and of itself...] Is it 'cause we'll be starting high school soon?[A beat, and then:]
Though I guess it will be kinda weird going to separate places next year. We've almost always shared the first day together, huh?
[Save for the times Amane's been sick, of course, but...]

As much as he wanted to be out of the way, he often ended up in the way sometimes. Especially for poor Amane.
But right now, he's doing what needs to be done again. Amane needed him out of the way so he did just that. He went off and did his own thing as he always did. It wasn't like Amane ignored him but Tsukasa knew his brother didn't want him around sometimes. A lot of the time. He annoyed Amane. Of course Amane didn't hate him, he knew that, but sometimes he thought maybe Amane would have preferred to be an only child. Maybe everybody would have preferred that. But oh well, that hadn't happened and now this was how things had been.
Amane was doing his thing and so Tsukasa was doing his, trying to grab as much time with his twin as Amane would allow. Though he knew Amane wanted more time with Tsukasa than he would ever admit. Or know. Amane never knew what he wanted and Tsukasa thought he had a pretty good idea. It might annoy him when Tsukasa squeezes himself into Amane's space when Amane didn't specifically say he wanted it, but he needed his twin to sometimes give him that boost nobody else could give. Amane didn't need to say it, Tsukasa knew.
Which was why he wouldn't be alone for very long at the new school.]
It's okay, Amane. I've had to be alone sometimes. [He says it so casually, like that isn't actually kind of sad??] But we're going to spend more time together this year!
