Welcome to Beautiful Dreamer's very first AU/CR Plotting Meme! This first version is going up in advance of the game itself to give potential applicants the opportunity to feel out how they want to play their AUs as well as shopping around for pre-game CR and potentially some CR castmates...??? Perish the thought!
During future app rounds, the AU and CR Plotting memes will be split in two in order for new players to have a bit of breathing room in workshopping their CR but in this pre-game stretch while we're all chewing on the bars of our collective cage you get a two for one deal!
Don't feel as though you have to be 100% beholden to anything you brainstorm here – ultimately this is just to get ideas flowing and to help prebake some character connections before entry into the game. Feel free to also take a look around the FAQ pages or tag about on the TDM before posting here and generate some ideas that way!

I'm searching for a new brainrot to infect myself with, and taking a slight break from western animation to bring you a live action, murderous teenager. About: - Wednesday's family immigrated to Japan roughly a year ago, and have been very quiet up until several months before now. Only recently has Wednesday started attending the local high school for the school year. - Their estate in Yumemigaoka is old and secluded (rumors say it's haunted). also the previous owner miiiiiight have been murdered - Even before moving, Wednesday was afflicted with prophetic dreams, something her mother also has, that foretold Nightmares. Naturally, one came after her. - Naturally, it lost, but it did lead to Wednesday's Awakening. - She hates being a Dreamer, but the Nightmares interest her enough that she wants to investigate the truth behind this matter anyway. - Not fond of this fresh start her family is making, but she'll only complain about it sometimes. - Speaks formal, almost antiquated Japanese, but does so with perfect diction.
Short Term & Long Term Plans: Short Term: Dragging Wednesday, kicking and screaming (metaphorically), into the outside world for socialization and enrichment. Despite her intense disinterest in anything other than her own business. Being a new transfer student means she's already an outcast which must be dealt with before anything else.
Long Term: possibly investigating the murder of her distant relative On the long term, investigating the Dream Sphere will be high on Wednesday's priorities. Just as well, I'd love to see her come into her own as a person, and be slightly more open with others. Maybe even allowing herself to be.... slightly caring.
Desired CR/AU Castmates: New classmates! Folk who'll look kindly on outcasts. Bullies. Other freaks to bond with. Part of the draw for Wednesday is that she's kind of an unknown enigma, so I want to play a bit with folk's expectations of her.
