Welcome to Beautiful Dreamer's very first AU/CR Plotting Meme! This first version is going up in advance of the game itself to give potential applicants the opportunity to feel out how they want to play their AUs as well as shopping around for pre-game CR and potentially some CR castmates...??? Perish the thought!
During future app rounds, the AU and CR Plotting memes will be split in two in order for new players to have a bit of breathing room in workshopping their CR but in this pre-game stretch while we're all chewing on the bars of our collective cage you get a two for one deal!
Don't feel as though you have to be 100% beholden to anything you brainstorm here – ultimately this is just to get ideas flowing and to help prebake some character connections before entry into the game. consider: shu's rich ass parents who probably businesses or something were some of the patrons that odette recruited to fund the DU. As such, Shu kind of knows her/knows of her, since she's friendly acquaintances of the family or smth
Maybe he and Odile met as wee children when their parents brought them with to a gala or something idk
Yesssssss. I think Odette would have tried to keep Odile out of a lot of that side of her life as part of trying to let them have a normalish childhood BUT also would have been super keen on introducing them to other kids she knew of to help them make friend. So I am super down for these two meeting as little kids, I think that’d be cute!

I could vibe either with them keeping in contact and casually hanging out every once in awhile OR losing contact and having the whole "wait i know you from somewhere" when they meet again, up to you!
