i'm so sorry lynny i know this stupid movie doesn't come up IN nerdy prudes must die but i just had the fucking brainblast that it would be unspeakably funny if every else knew connor for the things he's actually famous for and peter was like "oh! it's chris krangle from santa claus is going to high school!"

listen, in my heart "Santa Claus is Going to High School" is a universal constant and I would bust it out in a heartbeat to embarrass them both

he did acting (1) time as a favor to a family friend and his pr thought it might be a good idea to get him in front of a new crowd. unfortunately, the movie is..... that. connor tries to forget it as much as possible. his nightmare is the looming threat of "santa claus is going back to high school" because the first one made so much money (for the $12 budget it was made on)

I know it's not technically canon but since we're diverting anyway, Pete has seen that movie Too Many Times because Richie did/does work at the mall cineplex, had free tickets he had to use and it was the only movie playing. "Deck the Halls (of Northville High School)" lives rent free in his head and I'm not sure if he unironically enjoys it or if he's a person with any kind of taste.
