We will work our way to found family, but hmmmm... lorewise, Eridanus' brothers have always been Good Boys but who's to say the trauma wasn't shared in this AU? Eridanus' youngest brother (he has a super fancy elf name but lets just call him Orion instead) probably would've had kids had he survived in original canon... So maybe Riley is his daughter??

If you'd be open to working Eridanus' family backstory like that, I'd be VERY into it! This could be the first time they're really meeting, so we can play out awkwardly growing closer but also have a built-in foothold.

YES… Like Riley’s always sort of know she has uncles but the family never really gets together so she hasn’t met anyone beyond her grandparents… two uncles with the oldest being very much only known through a handful of photographs since Orion wouldn’t have spent much time to Eridanus…
