Ohhhh my goodness this sounds like dream CR! now I REALLY need to study lmao I don’t actually know a ton about astronomy shh yes I love it! Do we want to pre-bake in them knowing each other or facilitate them meeting in game? the latter seems like it’d be very cute, ngl - I love threading first encounters and budding friendships haha!
Hmmmm. Though now I’m thinking about it and I realize I hadn’t decided Ouji’s school situation yet. It would make sense that his dad would push for a fancy pantsy private school but his mom might vote for something simple and at least in theory away from all the limelight. Hmhm~
Of course there’s also the potential for them to meet in the dream sphere first! That might be funny, given Hanako’s whole deal lol. (I haven’t decided what really “triggers” Ouji’s transformation yet. 🤔 perhaps a nightmare attack??)
But I KNOOOOOOW 😭😭!! Amane's a lonely kid himself, albeit for completely other issues (though Ouji may be happy to get to know someone from a not-rich-people family lmao), so them getting to become friends and bond over their love of space makes me so soft 🥺🥺and honestly, I know very little about it myself, I just let Google take the wheel and hope it sounds believable so don't even worry on that end, sobs I'd be good with them meeting one another in game, though! A lot of Amane's Thing so far in BD is that he's sort of been isolated from his peers growing up because of his health stuff, so I think with that in mind, them meeting now makes more sense! (but also I love threading growing friendships too dsfjsdkfd)
But omg, if Amane and Ouji were schoolmates though......... ;-; There's Promised Academy, the DU-affiliated school that most of the teen Dreamers in-game go to, but Amane himself goes to Fujiwara Junior High because he is just that deep into not giving away his Dreamer identity to folks 8'| I've been toying with the idea of him transferring to the Dreamer school now that he's been less weird about it, but! We can definitely work something out regardless to where you want to send Ouji to!
..... oh god Hanako is a complete menace, though, so they're probably going to get off on a weird foot if they meet in the Dream Sphere first...... though he DOES hang around Stardust Sanctuary a lot, so any Dreamer who appreciates the whole ~Space~ of that place automatically wins points in his book although he'll never let on because gotta keep his identities separate.... ahahaaaaaa

I guess my biggest hurdle atm is “has he awakened by the time I app him or will that happen in game?” Hhhhhhmmmm. Ahh I’m so indecisive kfjdhshssl 😭
Cause I’m thinking that even if he does go to a regular middle school at first, his dad will prolly want to basically immediately have Ouji drop eveything and ship him to Promised Academy when he awakens because he’ll be very interested in learning about the dream sphere through him oh boy extra responsibility just what he wanted thanks dad orz If you’d been considering having Amane switch schools, perhaps making friends with Ouji (via school or outside of it) and having his newly made buddy getting upheaved and sent to PA would be a good bonus incentive for Amane to switch too?
Depending on if I roll with him having awakened or not on arrival in game, I think Ouji would, at least at first, be a little cagey and secretive about his dreamer identity too (lest dad find out spoilers: dad will find out) and find the mental image of him confiding in Amane about dreamer stuff (and possibly even about a certain troublesome Hanako!) all while being none the wiser that Amane is a Dreamer too really cute and silly. 😂
But yeah anyway! ANYWAY!! we don’t have to pigeonhole ourselves into anything too specific. We can just go with the flow and see how things shake out! ☆ミ
Gosh I need to make a TDM TL or something, huh? Hmmhmm.
