Don't feel as though you have to be 100% beholden to anything you brainstorm here – ultimately this is just to get ideas flowing and to help prebake some character connections before entry into the game. Feel free to also take a look around the FAQ pages before posting here and generate some ideas that way!

Serena can definitely be someone Illya can meet at school once she ends up going to Promised Morning (assuming she does that after she joins the Dreamer Union). Either way if they run into each other Serena will definitely be advocating for her joining the Dreamer Union if asked.

yes, i'm planning on having her start out by still going to a regular school, and then moving to promised morning once she's fully made the decision to commit to the whole magical girl thing.. i would love for them to run into each other before that, since she could definitely use some help from people who can help her with her decision!! this girl is way too indecisive by herself.. please give her some good advice, serena..

Well, Serena will at least give advice that she thinks is good? Like, she's not super dumb but she was a little bit too eager to jump into all of this everything. And is still a little too eager to go fight the biggest thing she can that she comes across in the Dream Sphere so... uh, maybe don't follow that example.

haha, gosh.. it might be a fun thread idea once illya has fully been convinced to do the whole dreamer thing for her to see serena fighting something way too big in the dream sphere.. illya would freak out and worry about her for sure!!

And then Serena actually realizes that making friends worry feels really bad.

...I'm not sure if that'd actually stop her, but it might make her think about things more first? Maybe? Sorry if this ends up being really stressful for Illya when this happens.
