oh my god YES... i would be so here for it!!! especially since illya is definitely prone to fangirling over celebrities and all, so we could totally make this work. the whole cool and competent thing is something she'd super look up to and probably be the thing she admires about him as a celebrity, so it'd make the reveal later on only even more funny.
especially since she'd probably be so flustered if she ever met him pre-finding out about his dreamer persona and all, h-how does one deal with meeting a cool celebrity, illya doesn't know!!
her stuttering through asking for his autograph on the street and he's like "oh sure" and then asks if she wants to take a photo, one shot ko'ing her, is the vibe i'm getting. or just if she transfers to promised morning she's like constantly hiding behind things and he's like "... does she know i can see her? it seems harmless"
then eventually she meets him in the dream sphere and he's just fully on the struggle bus 25/8 and desperately trying to get a handle on his powers and dresses like some kind of weird goth and it's very "..... what" and he's like "oh god you can't tell anyone this is a dreamer-only secret"
yes, i love this so much!! i imagine pre-meeting him as a dreamer she's like okay watching him from a distance is fine but i absolutely CANNOT interact with him one on one.. i'm unworthy... and yet she somehow through wacky shenanigans gets forced into interacting with him anyway time and time again and she's just absolutely screeching on the inside every single time
just to make the impact of her finding out later even bigger, HAHA.. her realising a little like uh oh, this does kind of crush her impression of him, but on the other hand she'd also feel kind of sorry for him.. and then that might lead into them slowly interacting just a little bit more in a normal way
