Don't feel as though you have to be 100% beholden to anything you brainstorm here – ultimately this is just to get ideas flowing and to help prebake some character connections before entry into the game. Feel free to also take a look around the FAQ pages before posting here and generate some ideas that way!

Sure, no Duels, until we get enough YGO characters that someone ends up designing a card game anyway. Or until someone decides that everyone plays Magic in Yumemigaoka or something.

Lisa is still a Novice herself but has a vested interest in making sure nothing happens to anyone around her, so if she does see Serena around she'll probably be looking out for her, when she isn't getting shot at herself.

I mean, from my understanding we can only have four of them, so that might be difficult. Oh god no if I don't want to learn enough about the Yugioh game to write it I definitely don't want to learn Magic.

As for Lisa looking out for her... yes, please do. Don't let being a Novice stop you Serena's going to be bad at taking "don't do something stupid advice" from everyone regardless of rank but please keep trying so she doesn't die. Or get seriously hurt.

As far as I can tell, yeah, the cast cap is four. Which is, like. One from every other main series at this point? Just enough for a Tag Action Duel- /airlocked

She's not a fan of people getting hurt! One, that's why she has a shield power, but two, nobody's supposed to get hurt on her watch except maybe her!

...Lisa, don't get hurt either. Might make Serena feel pretty bad if Lisa gets hurt taking a hit for her.

And I... still haven't figured out what I actually want Serena's powers to be. I should probably actually get that figured out.
